Ed Conroy will be leaving the Citadel for another coaching opportunity, but it won’t be with UNCW. Conroy, who Athletic Director Kelly Mehrtens called “our guy,” has officially turned down the offer to become UNCW’s next head basketball coach. Instead, he took the head job at Tulane that will reportedly pay between $350,000 to $400,000 a year.
