A sophomore from Fletcher, Wright continued to swing a hot bat as the Seahawks improved to 30-17, with an 11-5 thumping of UNC-Chapel Hill last week at Boshamer Stadium.

Wright delivered two-run singles in both the first and second innings as the Seahawks jumped out to a 5-0 lead and cruised past the Tar Heels. He added eight putouts and two assists in the field.

Wright has started all 47 games for the Seahawks and leads the club in hitting (.349), hits (60) and total bases (78).
