Women’s soccer to play Northeastern in CAA semifinals

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW women’s soccer (6-2) will play the Northeastern Huskies (5-4-1) in the CAA semifinals on Thursday, April 15 in Towson, Maryland.

At 4-0 in the conference, the Seahawks clinched sole ownership of the South Division title, with Hofstra clinching the North Division title at 3-0-1.

While UNCW will take on the Huskies at 7 p.m., the other two teams scoring a spot in the tournament, Hofstra (7-0-1) and Elon (4-3), will compete ahead of the Seahawks at 4 p.m., with the winners of each coming to a head in the championship game on Saturday, April 17 at 3 p.m.
