Voting for the SGA student body president runoff election closes tomorrow at 3 p.m., but there is still time for students to choose the candidates they want to represent them next year.
The latest SGA poll shows that 51.24% of students have voted for Naranjo-Grossheim, and 48.75% of students have voted for Huff-Stringfield.
With less than 24 hours left in such a close election, students are encouraged to keep voting for their preferred candidates.
Update: Mar. 23, 5:00 p.m.
The latest SGA poll shows that 52.28% of students have voted for Naranjo-Grossheim, and 47.71% of students have voted for Huff-Stringfield.
Two candidates came out on top after last week’s election for the ‘26-’27 SGA student body president. But with such close votes, SGA is holding a runoff election to make the final decision.
The respective candidates, Jansen Huff and Kyra Stringfield, and Russia Naranjo and Laura Grossheim, will continue their race to lead the student body for three more days.
Polls for the runoff election opened today at 9 a.m., and will stay open for student voting until Wednesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. The link to vote can be found in the SGA Instagram bio and WaveLink page, and was sent to UNCW student emails this morning.
Seahawks are encouraged to cast another vote for the candidates they want to see leading them for the next academic year, and make sure their voice is heard.
