Monday, Nov. 22

Cinematique Film Series: “Spencer”

Thalian Hall in downtown Wilmington, NC, presents a screening of “Spencer,” which follows Princess Diana (Kristen Stewart) at a Christmas gathering after her marriage to Prince Charles has soured. The film begins at 7 p.m. and tickets cost $9.63.

Tuesday, Nov. 23

Holiday Art Exhibit

The Bloom Gallery is holding an art exhibit featuring paintings, photographs, sculptures and jewelry. The gallery opens at 10 a.m. and there is no cost for admission.

Wednesday, Nov. 24

Annual Artisan Holiday Market

This annual holiday market at the Bayshore Commons Shopping Center features local artisan products ranging from pottery, candles, paintings and jewelry. The market is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 25

Wrightsville Beach Turkey Trot

The turkey trot features two race options, a 5K option and a 1-mile option around the town. Participants are encouraged to wear their best turkey costumes. Registration for the event is $40 and proceeds go to the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity.

Friday, Nov. 26

Enchanted Airlie

Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC, presents Enchanted Airlie, an evening event featuring a self-guided walk among holiday lights and festive music. Tickets are sold online and the event occurs every hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m. tickets cost $30 to $55.

Downtown Wilmington Tree Lighting

The tree lighting takes place at the foot of Market Street (Market and Water Streets) and features a live countdown to 6:28 p.m. which is capped off by a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Free hot cocoa while supplies last.

Cape Fear Festival of Trees

The Cape Fear Festival of Trees at Mayfaire Town Center in Wilmington, NC, features a winter wonderland provided by local businesses, groups and families which sponsor and decorate holiday trees. The event begins at 9 a.m. and tickets cost $10.95.

A Very Merry Mayfaire Christmas

A Very Merry Mayfaire Christmas at Mayfaire Town Center in Wilmington features The Piano Men, Brian Whitted and Nygel Robinson. Tickets cost $25 and the event begins at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 27

Holiday Train Expo

Located at Independence Mall at the Dillards Wing in Wilmington, NC, this event features more than 12 layouts and over 30 trains. The event begins at noon and costs $3.

Sunday, Nov. 28

Hanukkah Film Fest

This Film Festival presents the inaugural Hanukkah Film Fest, an event featuring 11 streaming films, many previously available at last spring’s Festival and Summer Series. Admission is $48 and this event will take place online.
