Fensom and Wilson win SGA student body election

Following a run-off election, the race for UNC Wilmington’s (UNCW) next Student Government Association (SGA) student body president and vice president concluded this week with the announcement of the 2021-2022 winners. 

Robby Fensom (with 698 votes) will be UNCW’s next student body president and Thomas Wilson (with 676 votes) will serve as his vice president. The winners were announced at a run-off election results watch party hosted by the SGA via Zoom on March 17. 

This was the first election, for student body president and vice president, in 15 years that resulted in a run-off. 

Their platform pillars consisted of recovery, innovation and inclusion.
