WILMINGTON, North Carolina – League officials announced Monday that UNCW’s (6-3) upcoming weekend series with Towson (1-4) has been moved to Jan. 18-19 inside SECU Arena for a pair of 2 p.m. tipoffs.

The Seahawks and Tigers are just two of the three CAA squads who have yet to play in a conference game this season due to positive COVID-19 virus tests within both programs.

Monday’s matchup will serve as both programs’ conference-opener for the 2020-21 season and will be UNCW’s first game since Dec. 23, 2020, when they defeated Delaware State (0-7, 0-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) inside of Trask Coliseum.
