Sometimes it is a great idea to get out of the house and just go for a walk or relieve some of the stresses of life. A good way to do this is by going to a nearby park and enjoying the beautiful nature of Wilmington. Here is a short list of parks in New Hanover county that are perfect for experiencing the beauty of nature.
Due to the coronavirus social distance measures, exercise equipment has been spaced at least 6 feet apart.

An inside look at the Student Recreation Center reopening

On Sept. 5, UNCW’s Student Recreation Center reopened under the state’s shift to Phase Two and a Half. Under this new phase, the rec center was allowed to reopen at a 30% capacity to students, faculty and staff.
