The Seahawk Sports staff has named Shanga Manning as the Seahawk Intramural Athlete of the semester. The UNCW junior competed on four different intramural teams in the Fall, winning intramural championships in men’s outdoor basketball and razzle dazzle flag football, while also taking runner up in men’s 7 on 7 flag football. Each of Manning’s teams reached the playoffs and totaled a combined overall record, including playoffs, of 25-5. Manning was also named a member of the Seahawk flag football all tournament team earlier in the year. The Burlington native also displayed exemplary sportsmanlike conduct on the playing field.
