4-06: UNCW doubles team of Illia Ziamtsou and Kosta Blank were named CAA Men’s Tennis Doubles Team-of-the-Week. With the honor, the Seahawks have now earned four Doubles Team-of-the-Week awards. Michael Pereira and Ryan Ybarra (Week of Feb. 28) and Kinshuk Sharma and Max Ando Hirsch (Weeks of Mar. 21 and Mar. 28) are the others to win the honor.

4-06: UNCW baseball falls to nationally ranked Coastal Carolina 20-1.

4-10: Two UNCW track and field records fell at the Sea Ray Relays on April 10. Alexis Kauffman, Shanelle Foster, Keona Eaton and Jania Bogle finished the 4k200 relay with a time of 1:38.37. The same team finished the 4×100 with a school record of 16.14

4-12: Infielder Michael Bass was named CAA Rookie-of-the-Week after batting .333 and compiling an on base average of .417. He joins Hunter Ridge as the only Seahawks to win the honor this season.

4-16: CAA Championships start for several UNCW teams. Women’s tennis, men’s tennis, men’s golf and women’s golf all play for a chance to take the CAA crown. Track and field championships begin April 30.
