If you got mostly A’s, you should buy an air plant. These little guys are cheap and relatively resilient. They are super cute and quite fascinating. It may not look like they’re doing much, but they might give you pups (baby plants) with some time or even aerial roots. They do not need a lot of maintenance, and they don’t even need soil! If you have pets there is no need to worry, these are completely pet friendly.
If you got mostly B’s then you should consider getting a succulent or a cactus. These aren’t too expensive, but you can upgrade to rarer variants if you want. They don’t need too much attention and can be watered anywhere from every other week to once a month. If you have animals in the house be careful before buying one, but a majority of species are safe for your pets. Just do your research!
If you got mostly C’s then you might enjoy a calathea. These plants can be finicky, but with the right care they will reward you with gorgeous leaves, and they come in all kinds of colors and patterns! These plants are all pet safe, so your furry friends will be okay if they try to take a bite.
If you got mostly D’s, it might be time to consider a unique addition to your home, a carnivorous plant. Common choices are Venus flytraps or sundews. Both are great at catching little fruit flies or fungus gnats around your home. They have specific care needs, so research is necessary for healthy plants, but they are super interesting to watch and learn about. Most should be pet friendly, but due to their more delicate nature it might best to keep them out of reach.
If you got mostly E’s, consider buying a pothos. These are hardy plants that grow long vines and luscious leaves. They are classic houseplants that you have probably seen before, and they come in over 15 varieties. If you have pets, the oxalate in the plant may be a concern as it can be toxic in certain dosages. Do your research to see if this plant sounds like a good option to you.
If you got mostly F’s, a ZZ plant or a snake plant will be a gorgeous addition to your home. Both plants come in different varieties, and they are hardy and low light tolerant. They’re slow growers, but the wait is worth it. With time these plants can get huge and can last for decades. It is far easier to overwater these plants rather than under-watering them, so no need to worry if you go on vacation for a few weeks or simply forget to water them. Both can be harmful to pets so be careful that furry friends don’t eat them!
That ends our quiz. I hope you had fun! Remember to do your own research before welcoming new plants into your home as this quiz may not have all the information you need
