UNCW Men’s Basketball
The UNCW Men’s Basketball Team tips off against Norfolk State at Trask Coliseum at 7 p.m.
Jingle Jog
The Jingle Jog at Founders Park in Leland, NC, is a free holiday themed social run which encourages holiday apparel. All participants must sign a waiver before running. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
Celtic Angels Christmas
Thalian Hall in downtown Wilmington, NC, presents “Celtic Angels Christmas” a holiday concert featuring vocal and instrumental performances and traditions including Irish dancing. Showtimes are at 4 and 7:30pm.

Ballet for Young Audiences: “Snow White”
Thalian Hall in downtown Wilmington, NC, presents Ballet for Young Audiences featuring “Snow White.”
Friday, Dec. 3
Island of Lights Christmas Parade
The Island of Lights Christmas Parade in Carolina Beach, NC, proceeds from Atlanta Avenue down Lake Park Blvd to the Federal Point Plaza and features floats, bands and a visit from Santa Claus. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.
Enchanted Airlie
Airlie Gardens presents Enchanted Airlie, an evening event featuring a self-guided walk through the gardens with holiday lights and festive music. Tickets cost $30-$55.
“The Nutcracker”
Thalian Hall in downtown Wilmington, NC, presents Ballet for Young Audiences featuring “The Nutcracker,” Tchaikovsky’s story of a girl named Clara who receives a nutcracker as a Christmas present.
Saturday, Dec.4
Island of Lights Christmas Flotilla
The Island of Lights Christmas Flotilla in Carolina Beach, NC, features fishing boats and other boats decorated with thousands of lights. The event begins at 6 p.m.
“A Charlie Brown Christmas”
Opera House Theatre Company presents “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at Mayfaire Town Center. Showtimes at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Sunday, Dec.5
Holiday Flea at the BAC
The Brooklyn Arts Center in downtown Wilmington, NC, presents the Holiday Flea at BAC, a festive market with more than 50 local and regional vendors with vintage, retro and up-cycled treasures, plus food trucks and the Brooklyn Arts Center bar. They are open on Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 6
AIDS Quilts at Cameron Art Museum
Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC, in partnership with the LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast, is presenting an art exhibit at the Cameron Art Museum featuring two quilts from the AIDS Memorial Quilt along with quilts created by Cape Fear residents to celebrate the lives of friends and family members. Admission costs $8.
Tuesday Dec. 7
Light Exhibit at Cameron Art Museum
For this exhibition at Cameron Art Museum, artists were encouraged to explore the theme of rebirth and renewal using lights as their inspiration.
“Under the Streetlamp: Hip to the Holidays”
The Wilson Center in downtown Wilmington presents “Under the Streetlamp: Hip To the Holidays.” Originally established in 2009 by members of the Chicago company of the Award-winning musical “Jersey Boys.” The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $28.

Cape Fear Festival of Trees
The Cape Fear Festival of Trees at Mayfaire Town Center in Wilmington, NC, features a winter wonderland provided by local businesses, groups and families which sponsor and decorate holiday trees. This event is a fundraiser for local families that are struggling with serious illnesses.
