WILMINGTON, North Carolina – After opening conference play last weekend against Drexel (4-1, 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association), UNCW women’s basketball (3-5, 0-2 CAA) announced yesterday that it would postpone its weekend series with James Madison (5-3, 1-0 CAA) scheduled for Jan. 9-10 in Harrisonburg, VA.

The news broke after a positive COVID-19 virus test within the Dukes’ program. This marks the first time this season UNCW women’s basketball has had to postpone a matchup due to the COVID-19 virus.

UNCW and James Madison will work with the Colonial Athletic Association to reschedule its conference matchups.
