WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW’s men’s basketball program has postponed their upcoming series against James Madison. The Seahawks (6-3) and Dukes (3-4) were scheduled for a two-game series Jan. 9 and Jan. 10 inside of Trask Coliseum.

The announcement was made earlier this afternoon by the CAA and UNCW Basketball via Twitter.

UNCW had its previous series against Drexel (5-2) postponed due to a positive COVID-19 virus case within the Seahawk program. After Monday’s announcement, the Hawks’ next opportunity to play their conference-opener will be Jan. 16 against Towson (1-4).

According to the CAA, “a decision on rescheduling the UNCW/JMU games will be made at a later date.”
