Humans of the Dub: settling down

Jordan Bell, Humans of the Dub - Head Editor

Does the term “settle down” scare you or give you comfort?

It gives me comfort. I was in the military, so I was constantly moving around. Settling down always sounds like a good thing to me.

What is something you continuously procrastinate with?

Probably homework. I always hate doing it! I hate homework in general, but typically anything with math isn’t fun for me

What do you have a hard time visualizing?

Honestly, I can’t see myself with kids. I see myself with a good job and having a nice job, but kids? I’m not sure if I can see myself with kids. The idea of living with kids really scares me. It’s a lot of responsibility!

Do you think the grass is greener on the other side, or where you water it?

I think the grass is always greener where you water it. You always have to make the best out of any situation you’re in even if it’s bad.

What dance or dance move have you mastered?

When I was younger, I really loved the chicken dance! But now, I couldn’t name any dance that I’m good at.

What do you need more of?

Money! Money would be nice for sure. I think money would help me become more comfortable in life, and I wouldn’t have to live like such a college kid. I would be able to buy more groceries and stuff like that.
