On Tuesday, August 21st, the University of North Carolina Wilmington held their annual Beach Blast Celebration at the Oceanic Pier on Wrightsville Beach. Hundreds of Seahawks celebrated the start of another semester on the crowded beach in the heat and sun, swimming, laying out and playing games. Students were joined by several vendors providing them with free pizza, stickers, coupons and the like.
