A historical Homecoming is fast approaching as UNCW gets ready to kick off its 70th Homecoming week starting on February 5. The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “UNCW Just Went Platinum” to represent the tradition of the gift of platinum given for a 70th anniversary. In lieu of a traditional Homecoming week during football season, UNC Wilmington celebrates this school-spirited week during basketball season every year. This year, the festivities will take place from Monday, February 5 to Saturday, February 10. Here is a sneak peek of some of the events going on to celebrate 70 years of Seahawk pride.
