Elections over, UNCW students decide next year’s SGA
The election for student body vice president had to be decided by a run-off, but in the end, Brett Pinnix was the last one standing.
Pinnix, a freshman studying exercise science, will serve under president-elect, Zach Steffey, next year. Both have serious plans to increase the school spirit on campus.
“We plan on increasing the incentive program on attending games, and changing the overall sports
vibe to a more electric feel around campus,” Pinnix said in an e-mail.
Steffey won the student body presidential election with over half of the student vote, beating out fellow candidates Meghan Munch and Matt Simpson.
