Health Promotion & Campus Dining is sponsoring a four-week culinary boot camp that teaches basic cooking techniques and how to make easy and affordable meals. Academic Majors and Minors Fair

Whether you are undecided about your major or just curious about the majors and minors our university has to offer, visit the Academic Majors and Minors Fair sponsored by the Career Center and University College. Talk with representatives from academic departments in Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, and Health & Human Services and find out what courses are needed, admissions requirements, and career options for your academic major.
uShop Vendor Fair

Hosted by the Purchasing Services, come by and meet uShop showcased vendors like Staples, Fisher Scientific, and Dell.
Career Carnival

Sponsored by the Career Center, there will be free food, door prizes, and a photo booth with pictures posted on the Career Center’s Facebook page. Explore different industries, experience various careers, engage with alumni and employers, and embark on your career journey!
First-Year Film Festival Premiere (F4)
Wednesday, November 18 (7 PM)
Lumina Theater
From September 1 until November 11, any students enrolled in First Year or Transfer seminar are eligible to submit a 3-5 minute video focusing on this year’s theme “Chasing Your Dreams: Your First Year Experience at UNCW.” Students can work individually or in groups. The Top 10 films are to be featured at The Premiere at Lumina Theater.
Art for the Masses
Saturday, November 21 (10 AM – 5 PM)
Burney Center and Warwick Center
This event is coordinated through Campus Life Arts & Programs and the Department of Art & Art History. Free for all and open to the public, Art for the Masses features works from over 100 local artists. The original works will be selling for $250 or less. Donations are being accepted to help fund public arts projects at the university.
