Landen Roupp, Brooks Baldwin, and Adam Smith were all drafted in last week’s MLB Draft. All three Seahawks were named to an All-CAA team at the conclusion of the 2021 season.

Roupp and Baldwin were both selected by the San Francisco Giants. Roupp, the reigning CAA Pitcher of the Year, was the first Seahawk to be selected after hearing his name called in the 12^th round with the 356^th pick. Baldwin was selected in the 15^th round with the 446^th pick.

Smith was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 14^th round with the 430^th pick. Smith finished the 2021 season with a 6-1 record as a starter and also tallied three saves on the year.

All players who were selected in the 2021 MLB Draft will have until August 1 to sign with the organization that drafted them.
