A&E’s Eats

Rarely is good food cheap and fast, but Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn has mastered the art of service with a smile. Upon entering the restaurant located at 4002 Oleander Drive, the flaming atmosphere grabs your attention. From bright decor to big burritos, this barn has something for everyone.

If chicken, steak or shrimp burritos do not sound appetizing, try the enormous Tree Hugger. This is twelve inches of beans, rice, cheese, tofu, spinach, carrots, lettuce and salsa. The menu is Tex-Mex and should please anyone who loves burritos, chili and chips.

Aside from their burritos, Flaming Amy’s does something a little different. On Tuesdays, they give their customers the opportunity to show some skin. Customers who have a tattoo receive a 10% discount. This discount is offered every day for students with a school I.D.

Two words most college students love to hear are discount and beer. Flaming Amy’s has both. Get a cheap burrito, take a trip to the salsa bar, have a beer and then play a game of pool. If their salsa is not hot enough, visit the wall of flame and spice up your burrito with a number of signature sauces.

Open since July of 2000, Flaming Amy’s has been growing. The restaurant is currently owned and operated by J.A.C.K. Enterprise which stands for the first names of the owners: Jay, Amy, Craig and Karen. They are more than willing to talk to customers.

The atmosphere is bright and the service is even better. The employees are friendly and they prepare your food when ordered. For a good meal in a relaxing restaurant, with beer and discounts, Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn offers service with a smile.
